Terms and conditions
- National Shipping – Shipping takes 3 to 5 working days to most parts of South Africa and within 2 working days in the Cape Town area if the jewellery pieces are in stock. We use local, reputable couriers and will send the tracking info for your order within 24 hours of your order being placed. We offer free shipping to most parts of South Africa but if you stay somewhere more remote then we reserve the right to charge for delivery. If the jewellery piece is in stock at Takealot, it will be shipped to you from Takealot as a Takealot order and Takealot’s terms and conditions of service will apply to the order.
- International Shipping – We offer international shipping on enquiry. Shipping rates vary depending on the destination. Please be aware that you may be charged import duties and taxes when your purchase arrives in your country. Such fees will be for the client’s account.
- Payment – We accept payment via credit card using Payfast (South Africa’s leading online payment portal) to process the payment. If you choose the EFT option then our banking details will be included in the order confirmation email you will receive after completing the order.
- Sizing of Rings – Sizing any of our gold rings up to three sizes larger is included in the selling price. Any reduction in the size of the ring is included in the selling price. Sizing of silver rings up or down is included in the selling price. Please make sure your finger size is accurate as any additional sizing will incur a fee. Once a ring has been purchased, we will contact you regarding your finger size. Gold rings that require sizing four or more sizes above the existing size of the ring being purchase, will incur an additional fee.
- Made to Order – Please note all jewellery piece that are not in stock at the time of purchase and are made to order, take three weeks to make. If the piece you are purchasing is a gift for a specific occasion, please allow three and a half weeks to ensure you receive the piece before the time.
- Returns – If you’re not happy with the product for whatever reason please let us know within 7 days of your purchase. If you would like to return the product because you have changed your mind then it needs to be returned in the original condition in which it was delivered.
- If the jewellery piece is purchased via Takealot, it will be shipped to you from Takealot as a Takealot order and Takealot’s terms and conditions with regards to returns and refunds will apply to the order. Takealot does not accept earring returns. Please contact us directly in this regard.
- Warranty:
- What is covered? – We offer a 1 year warranty on our product which covers the functionality of the jewellery piece under normal use conditions. If something breaks during normal use then the warranty covers that.
- What is not covered? – Wear and tear through normal use. Any damage and/or scratching of the jewellery piece due to careless handling of the piece, any damage caused by wearing the piece while performing tasks that put unnecessary stress on the piece and any damage caused by exposure of the piece to harsh chemicals for example bleach. The warranty does not cover this.
