Peta Morrison studied gemology at the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California. There she qualified as a Graduate Gemologist.
She further studied jewellery design at the institute under the tutelage of Robert Ahrens, the former head designer for the famed French jeweller Van Cleef and Arpels.
