
Local and international shipping options and delivery details
Local Delivery
All pricing includes local delivery by courier. Delivery takes between two to three working days (weekends and public holidays excluded) if the item is in stock.
The client will receive the tracking details on the day that the jewellery piece is shipped, at which point the client will be able to track it on the courier’s website.
All orders will be meticulously wrapped to prevent damage. Please unbox with care. If by some chance the piece is damaged on receipt, please contact us immediately.
All jewellery pieces in stock at Takealot will be shipped directly from Takealot. Takealot’s terms and conditions will apply to your purchase.
International Delivery
Please contact us if you would like us to ship internationally. Shipping rates vary depending on the destination. Please be aware that you may be charged import duties and taxes when your purchase arrives in your country. Such fees will be for the client’s account.
Refunds & Returns
If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we will refund the full amount of the purchase price once the piece has been returned to us. For a refund the client needs to notify us within 7 days of receiving their order if they wish to return it.
Any cleaning or repairs will incur a fee. It the piece is extensively damaged it will be returned to the customer at their own expense without a refund.
If the jewellery piece is purchased via Takealot, it will be shipped to you from Takealot as a Takealot order and Takealot’s terms and conditions of service will apply to the order.
Made to order jewellery pieces
- Made to Order – Please note all jewellery piece that are not in stock at the time of purchase and are made to order, take three weeks to make. If the piece you are purchasing is a gift for a specific occasion, please allow three and a half weeks to ensure you receive the piece before the time.
Do you offer a warranty on your workmanship?
Yes. We offer a one year warranty on our workmanship. This does not include damaged caused by careless handling of the jewellery.
Diamonds, other gemstones and precious metals are not indestructible. Treat your treasured piece with respect and it will last a lifetime.
Viewing of specific jewellery pieces
Please contact us if you wish to view one of our pieces in person. Arrangements will be made accordingly. Alternatively purchase the piece off our website and if you are not 100% satisfied, you are welcome to return it no questions asked.
Ring sizing
Sizing any of our gold rings up to three sizes larger is included in the selling price. If a gold ring needs to be sized more than three sizes, there will be an additional fee.
Any reduction in the size of a gold ring is included in the selling price.
Sizing of silver rings up or down is included in the selling price.
Please make sure your finger size is accurate as any additional sizing will incur a fee. Once a ring has been purchased, we will contact you regarding your finger size.
What is a "boutique approach" to jewellery making?
It is the opposite of mass production. We focus instead on handmade and hand finished jewellery pieces with the emphasis being on making sure each piece is superbly made.
This does mean that our collections are more exclusive and that we feature less jewellery pieces on our website. However, each piece is a work of art in its own right and will endure for generations to come.
Where is the jewellery featured on your website made?
The jewellery available for purchase on our website is made in South Africa by local designers and jewellers unless otherwise specified. The country of origin will always be stated in the description of the item of jewellery.
